Day 1Dehradun to Agoda Village (2,100m)
Distance: 160 km (scenic drive)
Duration: 7-8 hours
Pick-up: Dehradun Railway Station (7:00 AM)
Accommodation: Guest house in Agoda Village
Your Himalayan adventure begins with a picturesque drive from Dehradun along the Bhagirathi River to Agoda Village. Enjoy stunning valley views and get acquainted with your trek team during the orientation session.
Day 2Agoda Village to Dodital Lake (3,150m)
Distance: 14 km trek
Duration: 5-6 hours
Altitude Gain: 1,050m
The real trek begins! We follow a well-defined trail through mixed forests of oak and rhododendron, crossing several streams. Keep an eye out for Himalayan birds and possibly even musk deer. The trail gradually ascends to the beautiful Dodital Lake where we camp for the night.
Day 3Dodital Lake to Darwa Top (4,150m) and back
Distance: 10 km round trip
Duration: 6-7 hours
Altitude Gain: 950m
Today's highlight - the ascent to Darwa Top! The trail takes you through alpine meadows with stunning views of Bandarpunch peaks. From the summit, enjoy 360° panoramas of the Garhwal Himalayas. Return to Dodital Lake for overnight camping.
Day 4Dodital Lake to Agoda Village, return to Dehradun
Distance: 14 km descent
Duration: 5-6 hours
Drive back to Dehradun: 7-8 hours
After breakfast, we descend back to Agoda Village through the forest trail. Celebrate your achievement with the team before driving back to Dehradun, arriving by evening (7-8 PM).
Trek Location
The Dodital Darwa Top Trek is located in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, in the Garhwal Himalayas. The trailhead begins at Agoda Village (28 km from Uttarkashi town) and takes you through stunning alpine landscapes to Dodital Lake and Darwa Top.
